About Pam ReynoldsMy own healing journey began when I was in my early thirties. I had become overwhelmed by the stresses of my life as a working mother of young children. I tried many things to help myself including counseling, meditation, and exercise. All of them were helpful but I was still struggling. Then someone suggested Jin Shin Jyutsu®. From the moment I felt the warm relaxing energy flowing through my body, I knew that this was for me. After the session, I felt a sense of profound peace, clarity, and centeredness. But most importantly, I felt more like my real self than I had in a long time. I then started having ongoing sessions and my life slowly began to shift into a saner rhythm. I regularly began doing Jin Shin Jyutsu® self-help and was able to bring myself back to that state of deep calm more frequently. Gradually I started to give treatments to my family. Jin Shin Jyutsu® has become our main way of treating everyday health challenges and continues to bring positive energy into our home. After my experience with Jin Shin Jyutsu®, it became clear to me that I wanted to bring this gift to a wider group of people, in hopes of helping others on their journey of finding peace and self-connection. I was also eager to teach people how to empower themselves in their own self-healing through Jin Shin Jyutsu® self-help. I opened my Jin Shin Jyutsu® practice in 1994. As I became more deeply interested in studying Jin Shin Jyutsu® I had a desire to learn more about its’ roots in other forms of Asian medicine. I was drawn to studying Chinese Medicine. This study deepened my understanding of how energy works in the body. I could see that Chinese Medicine offered valuable understandings and holistic tools for supporting the body that were not widely available in the U.S. at the time. I have found it to be very helpful to have a background in both Chinese medicine and Jin Shin Jyutsu®. They have complementary approaches to nourishing and harmonizing the body’s energy. I am happy to be able to draw on both disciplines to address the unique needs of the individuals that come for healing. In 2001, I graduated with a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. After receiving my license in Chinese medicine I became interested in wanting to learn to work with even deeper energies for healing. Eventually, I found my way to Lynda Casaera and so began my two-year study with her in her energy classes. Additionally, I have been studying the healing art of Reiki. These disciplines bring new dimensions to my work as a healer as I continue to learn new ways to integrate them into my healing sessions. I am so grateful for the gift of these healing arts and for the wonderful people I have come to know on my journey in practice. Pam Reynolds LAc Schedule a complimentary consultation with Pam, today.
